Will a Vance and Hines header allow retention of my center stand on a '82 GS1100E?

I believe so, it did on my 1150.

The V & H web site has installation instructions that you can download or view in your browser. The instructions talk about the centerstand. You'll have to check the instructions for your model.

Yup, I have to agree with Jeff. I had both and the megaphone cleared the center stand but the Supersport series did not.
