GS 1100G Motor in a GS1000G??

Just a quick question will it fit?? Have found a good running 1100 '82 motor and was wondering if it would just swap out with my 1000 G '80.

It will physically fit in your frame. As I recall you may need to make or modify the rear mount plates though.

I think you will need to replace one of the front mount plates. I always forget which one, but I think the curved one is replaced by a straight one. It definitely does fit straight in.

Doing a simillar swap Couldn't find a GS1100G here, found a GS1000G going to put it in My 850 next winter
