    Oil in Header

79 425E Has been sitting for a few years.

I'm seeing a bit of white smoke out the exhaust, and in the process of other stuff pulled the headers off. The left cylinder header is dry with a small amount of soot, the right side is black and sticky with oil. Is this the sign of a serious problem. These are the original headers and exhaust system so I didn't think they would be real clean inside anyway.

Sounds like valve seals. You could do a compression/ leakdown check just to make sure it's not blowby.
