I have done a search but couldn't determine definitavly whether or not I need the gears from a 2v or a 4v. I will need the increased flow/pressure because i am currently putting together a turbo system using a Mitsubishi TD04 turbo and will need to supply it with adequate oil.
What 750 gears do I need?

What 750 gears do I need to upgrade my '78 GS1000's oil system?

Re: What 750 gears do I need?
I put a turbo (Rajay) on my GS1100 and after a few hundred miles did a top end check and found that the turbo was taking too much of the oil even with the trick oil pump gears. I have since got an external pumpOriginally posted by Flatline_RacingWhat 750 gears do I need to upgrade my '78 GS1000's oil system?

I used gears out of a 70's 2-valve GS750 in mine. Still have that same set of gears and installed them almost 20 years ago.Comment

I found both 2v and 4v gears to fit and work.
I didn't have any problems with he oilfeed off the oiltemp-connection and a gravity drain.
