Has anyone swapped a zx11 front end?

I'd like to upgrade my front end on my 750 SD to run radials without a USD fork. The bike has a stock 19" front wheel. Kawasaki ZX11-D forks are long enough and measure 43mm in diameter.
Should I use triple trees from a 89-90 GSXR1100 with them? Is there any other non-USD forks that could be used for fitting a 17x3.5 front rim?
Any suggestions would be welcome. Ground clearence is a big issue.

A 4.5" rear wheel from a RF600 is ready to go in the stock swingarm.

    Thanks

    Here's a picture. http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/472371/ The anti-drive is broken so I disconnected it. I haven't a clue how to add a picture.
    Hope it works.

                HiSPL,
Sweet GS1100E. Is that a Vance & Hines header with a Micron Canister?
                Inquiring minds want to know.

                    Hehehe....

Yup, she's for sale. But I have an interested party right now so you guys have to get in line!

The exhaust is actually a mac 4-1 with a stock Bandit 1200 can that I painted black on it. It is very quiet, but flows really well. I bought the bike with a V&H setup on it that was rusted through at the collector so I cobbled together this system on the cheap and it works really well.

Sure I want to ticker with it. That's how it stays on the road and out of the junk yard. There was a lot of blood, sweat and money put into it. She was in rough shape when I first spotted her.

I can always swap back the original parts if it doen't work out. Besides, I enjoy working on the Kat as much as riding her.
