The spacer rests on the inner race. If it still does that you are ok. If it rests on the bearings then you will have a problem.

Very true. Maddawg, you need to either have the proper support machined to match the GS axle or use the 700 support with additional material added to it to match the length of the GSXR support. All I did was take a short piece of hydraulic jack handle and epoxy it to the 700 support. It was the correct id and you are only trying to keep the bearings out of a bind. The GSXR support could become misaligned and put the bearings in a bind.

Your right, better to do it right the first time(well tech 2nd) then to find out too late. Thanks guys
