EFE Head on GSX1100E

Hi Guys,

was wondering if the 1100 and 1150 EFE heads were the same?

I assume they will fit straight up to a GSX1100E?

any info on these would be great.

It's not quite a straight swap I don't think. You'll need to swap out your cylinder studs with 1150 ones, they're slightly longer if memory serves. Other then that though, it fits.

hi guys, thanks for the info..

on further enquiry the guy who has it reckons it will opnly fit an 83 - 85 model GSX1100.

I have an 82 GSX1100 E, I would of thought these were identical to the 83?

he maybe referring to cylinder studs, I checked the APE catalogue and they carry the same part no for GSX1100 and GSX1150 EFE.

I am tempted to risk it...
but dont want to be caught out.

Ed go for it. It will fit, only possible issue is the cylinder studs.
