how can i tell if the front end on my 78 gs550 is the original one or one off of another 78 550? the reason i was aking what other front ends would work is because mine has a slight bend on the left side of the frame and there is about 1/4 of play from front to back when i push/pull on the wheel. it the nut that holds the bairings is loose, i dont know if thats from the crash or if its from somebodie trying to trade them out and giving up on it. the only history on this bike that i know is that the engine was rebuilt right before it was parked.
