In the summer I ride up region road 19 from the lake, have a bite in Tilsonburg before heading further on or back home on Hwy 3. Do you ride a street bike as well as drag? (I live just 10 min from Sparta)Comment

The pipe geometry is quite diff though. The bend in the pipe is mutch closer to the head and the angle coming out ot the head is more down than out like the gs.
I have been told that the optimium length of the header before bending is 7" from the exhaust valve. This makes the most hp.
Correct me if I am wrong but. isn't the bandit pipe a sloppy fit under the motor? doesn't fit tight because of the diff of the port angles between the gs and the bandit.Comment

The pipe is not a Bandit pipe. I have no idea where it came from, I have had it forever. However, it is a tight fit on the Bandit but fit just right on the 1000 & 1100.
