    Lighten the valve train!

For you guys with GS 1100s & 1150s looking for every trick you can do for cheap, change your 9mil valve adjuster lock nuts to the 8 mil GSXR nuts. In the valvetrain every little bit you can lighten helps & it may not seem like a lot but it ALL adds up! Ray.

Yeap and if you go with a gsxr head the valve stem's are 5 mm as compared to the 1100/1150 5.5 mm ones.

Hey, this is kinda related, ...a #2 robertson screw makes an excellent valve adjusting tool for the 16v, just screw it into a little piece of wood or sumthin' fer a handle eh... only in canada.

Yea, but not the screwdriver, the screw, the the setsrews on the bike have square male heads the same size as a #2 , so u use a short screw inverted the little piece of wood(or several wraps of tape) is just easier to turn than holding the screw by the threads.
          ie ,short deck screw
