l need a "quick throttle"

l guess l`ve been running CV carbs and two stroke triples for too long because the smoothbores l have on my 78 GS1000 need to be cranked 180 degrees to fully open.No bueno. Does anyone run a quick throttle on their bike or know of one? any help appreciated

There was a thread recently about somebody machining a ring out of aluminum I think. The ring went onto the throttle tube where the cable wraps around and served to increase the diameter and quicken the throttle.

yamaha r1 has a factory quickturn (1/6th) throttle. part number 4yr-26240-02-00. I am planning on using it on my gsxr clipons. Chances are it'd fit the gs bars with some modifications
