GS550 Carb swap

I have a 81 GS550 and I was wondering if the carbs from a GS1100 would add sort of performance to my bike?

for you number gurews this is the bs32ss (550) and the Bs34ss (1100) would they fit and would they make a difference?

The 32's are already too big for the bike. 34's would kill what little low end it already has.

Ok thanks I know I should have used the search but I just saw a set of 1100 carbs for 50 on Ebay. but thanks tho.

If you really want to make a 550 go, help it do what it does best. Upgrade the suspension. It's a real giant killer on a twisty road.
