    Kawasaki GPz Swingarm on GS700E

Don't know if anyone has tried this before but I'm considering putting a swingarm from a 1982-1985 Kawasaki GPz on my 84 GSX 750S (essentially the same as a GS 700E). The reason is that I really dig the eccentric chain adjustment the Kwack swingarm features. Any thoughts?

which arm exactly ? gpz900 arms wrap around the frame with the outer bearings held by the footrest mounts so i'd say that one is out without fairly major work

not sure but i presume the similar looking 750's are the same, the 1000rx & zx10 are a "nomal" arm ...but wide

          This one...

Looks to be fairly straightforward, might have pivot width issues as well as linkage problems. Dig those eccentric adjusters, tho.

I've always liked the idea of eccentric adjusters also. You'd need to get a hold of one to compare and measure to see if it's possible. For a $10 bid you could get that one off of eBay and see if it's possible!
