    Mock up only

Mock up of the new color (got a whole lot of pearl on it); put on gages last night. Handle controls coming in tomorrow; Rays is going to help do the engine on Sat.

      Quickie Update

I hope to get off from Friday (7/4/08) through the Yosimite Trip.

Body parts have been sanded and decals have been applied. I'm going to do a final clear coat this coming weekend 4th July.

Rapid_Ray assembled the engine top end and degreed the Web cams last weekend. :-)

Engine is sitting int the frame and I'm assembling things on the bars.

Most of the new electricals are just going together. I thought I was going to have to do a lot more mods.

Just plugging away at assembly now.

A lot of new stuff on the bars.

                Now that's pretty!

That all black engine is seriously tempting me to have my engine painted all black! Dang, thanks for making my decision harder!

Hey, when you know when you're going to fire her up... Let me know too.. I can totally ride on down to S.B. to see it happen!

                    It's alive

This is what it look almost together. Cheff is here and did the carbs and sorted out the clutch. Finishing somemore today and trying to get 500 miles in for do a retorque on the head and readjust the valves.

                          Congratulations on your rebuild.

Cost of parts for build: expensive
Posting pics for all to see: priceless

                          Thanks.

                              Interim Update

Here is what the bike looked like on a test ride prior to the 300 mile retorque on the head bolts.

Wow! That is gorgeous! Congrats on producing such a fine specimen. You're to be commended.

What are the zip ties on the front forks for? Just curious.

I like the luggage. Very likely what I'll end up getting for mine. Do you have a close-up of the backrest? I'm very curious to see what you've got going there.

                                Again, beautiful job!
