I sent my carbs to Bill over the winter so he could clean and rebuild them. He also jetted for pods. Today I put the carbs back on my bike with K & N pods and OMG! What a difference! He also nailed the jetting perfectly. I already had a V & H 4/1 street exhaust on it. I've got some decel popping to get rid of. But no big deal. The bike is a beast now. No hesitation, it's massive power on demand, All I have to do is twist the throttle and it's all there all the time! And it sounds even more badass than before.
Bill, you da man! Tonight I drank too many frosty ones but...Tommorrow I ride!!!! This thing is a fire breathing dragon!!!

NO! NO! Not the evil 'Your bike will never run right again' PODS!

Another proven example that, done right, PODS and a jet kit are one of the biggest bang-for-the-buck mods you can do to these bikes......

Congrats and enjoy the extra power!

P.S. Bill is a great guy and certainly knows how to get the most out of an engine!

I'm actually glad the carbs worked at all. The guy who worked on his carbs before didn't set the float height, drilled the wrong side of the carb to remove the mixture screw caps (drilled through the float bowl gasket surface into the venturi) and buggered up the slides when he drilled them for the DJ kit.
I was excited for you to get this running. It is a beautiful bike! You should post a pic.

Hey Bill, I rode this afternoon to an area out of town where I could really grab a few handfuls of throttle without worrying too much about getting busted by the man. All I can say is HOLY SH*T!!!:-D
            Thanks again dude. Awesome job.

Bill just helped me trace wires in circles for an hour and a half on the phone, to the successful resolution of my wiring issues. Bill Rocks!

Bill spent an awful lot of time messing around with my bike & didn't solve one problem... and he cut the fuel hose too short!

Yeah right, only kidding, he's helped me out a lot too.

Yep, running great this evening. Just need to get another coil in there now, change the cam chain & possibly stick some relays in to trigger the coils.

Oh.. plus I need to fit the breather filter & stick it somewhere.
