My greatest fear has always been getting mowed down by someone from behind. In moderate to heavy single lane traffic, you don't always have the luxury of passing or pulling over to avoid a tailgater. Many riders will take on the oncoming traffic by using the centerline, but they don't seem to make it to old age!
