similar to a previous 1100 - 1150

I have a similar question.. I have a buddy with a running low mile 1150 engine..(84 I believe) my question is I have an 82 1100 GL should I attempt this swap??? Will the drive train hold?thanks

Well, not saying that you cant or shouldn't try it, but..... The 1150 is a chain-drive, and the GLZ is a shaftie bike. Even if the mounts are compatible, or made to work, there's the whole swingarm thingie to deal with.
