Will adjustable cam sprockets interchange with 8 valve and 16 valve motors? Cam chains are the same.

Yeah, they may share a chain, but what about the number of teeth on the sprocket?
I have no idea, but that is just one thought that popped into my head.
Later, when that thought died, another one stopped by for a visit. Although the sprocket is adjustable, the amount it can be adjusted is somewhat limited. There is a possibility that it will not line up correctly with the cam to time it properly.
There, all thoughts are gone now.

I took my stock ones out and ground the holes in a radial shape with a dremel tool after i glued a template to them that i made in solidworks, works great.Comment

The cam sprockets are different from the 16 valve and the 8 valve.Comment
