I've seen it done, but it was a lot of work. Personally I thought that the end result wasn't worth the amount of work required. You can get an awful lot of performance in a lot easier ways, as you probably know.
But, if you've got the bits lying around & want something to do....
I've seen a lot of bikes & cars over the years that have had unbeleivable mods done to them and I've thought - Why?
eg 250cc BSA - supercharged, GSXR1100 in a BSA chassis, E-type Jaguar with a Ford 2 litre 4-cyl engine. -
