Thanks ..
Do you have a pic of your 1100 wearing the quiet canister ?
[quote=isleoman;893679]Here is the Yosh .. I think it is older but can you tell from this bad pic ?
The older ones don't have the end cap that angles down ward, but who cares. PS don't try to clean the name plate with too much force.

From a visual stand point I like the Yosh the most. From an audible stand point and day to day driving I like whisper quite (stealth) and none of the after market units provide that capability. The best of all worlds (for me) would be a Yosh 4 into 1 collector with a Yosh slip on for when you want the sound (noise) & appearance and a plain Bandit/GSXR stock quite slip on that would fit the Yosh header for day to day driving. I can remove my slip on on the Yosh in about 2 minutes.Comment

Yup, that looks like the old Yosh system. Very nice, and as the other guys said, it will look great after a paint/polish. Check out Posplay's bike for another look at it installed on an 1100ED.
If it is too loud for your taste, I would be more than happy to buy it off you.

I agree 100%, it is too short, and being upswept the exhaust gets the passenger and saddlebags pretty stinky with exhaust. I am thinking of fabricating a piece to redirect the exhaust gasses downwards. Should be pretty simple, and I know where I can get some nice aluminum that will polish up well.Comment

I bought one of those last year when Star Cycle had them on sale. Haven't done anything with it though, still new in the box. I remember someone else saying they were kinda loud. I quess loud/quiet are very subjective. The Jardine seems like it might be able to easily accept a late model stock quite cannister from something. The problem is getting the large stock cannisters to look right in horizontal position. They seem to look better mounted with about a 30 degree upswing.
I also have a new Supertrapp header (just the 4 into 1 collector) it doesn't have the rear slip on with it.Comment

Okay, so I FINALLY found the right thread.
Billy Ricks, you've got the exhaust setup that I'm looking for, the problem is not the cannister, as I've got a D&D option on sale locally for cheap. I cannot seem to find out the necessary information as to what 4 into 1 headers will fit on my bike. I've got an 82 gs850g, and I've seen part numbers and listings for all the 750s and liter bikes, but not for my sad little 850. The silver bullet really needs an upgrade in the exhaust department.
What I do know is that the rear mounting was different on my bike, which appears to be the only difference that I can find out. Problem is, it's all hearsay, or "it's prolly gonna fit" kinda stuff.
All I would like to know is, bottom line, what 4 into 1 headers will fit on the cylinder head of my 850? The midpipe, mount and anything else are easily fabricated, I'm just looking to pick up a used header, but would prefer buying one that will actually FIT.
Thanks to whomever offers info, and thanks to all who have posted all this great information already. Great looking bikes.
