Keihin CR spigot questions

I have a set of CR's configured for a GSX1100S;



I'm planning to fit these to a 1982 GS1000SZ (Kat). The spigots that are currently on the carbs have an OD of 40mm. I do not have the stock carbs off the bike yet - what OD spigots will I need for the Katana?

Also - the spigots currently have capped holes in them;



Three of them have holes capped with bolts, one has a hollow bolt threaded in from the inside - I'm guessing this would have been to provide vacuum for something - but what?

The hollow bolt is for the petcock, With those carbs & I would assume a modified motor> I would think abouit a pingle fuel tap if you don't already have one..

Stock motor - why a pingle?

Pingle for Extra fuel. won't be needed if motor is stock. Outside dia of BS34 carb/ intake side 42mm
