    VM carbs for pods?

So, from what I've read so far, the older VM carbs are easier to work on, and tune when it comes to changing to pods. I have an '81 650GL, are there any VM carbs I can use for my bike? I assume I'll need a 32mm version, if they have it. Just a possibility I've been thinking of.

Pods require rejetting as you know. VM carbs are slightly easier to tune but either way you are in for some work. Changing to a different type of carbs is way more work than just rejetting the carbs you already have.

If you have to have pods, spring for a Dynojet kit, or similar, and be done with it. The tuning work will be mostly done for you already. Much easier than inventing the wheel by sorting the jetting on your own.
