    GS750ES Dynojet Settings - K&N & 4:1

Probably mostly for Billy & Dee but maybe there are some other members lurking....

I have the DJ kit, will be using K&N pods & a 4:1 (Bassani straight through with huge centre pipe so I imagine pretty good flow). Stock Carbs.

Any of you guys remember what Jet & clip setting you're using, give me a good starting point.

    Cheers,

    Dan

NOT the same bike, but, largest main, clip at 3.5 from the BOTTOM, bump your pilot (or dont and turn it 3.5 turns out) and drill your slides. Job done. Thanks Bill

I do believe the 750 kit has the air jet corrector. Use that, biggest main in the kit, drill slides and start the clip on the third from the bottom.

It certainly does.. I was thinking to use the biggest main & a couple of notches richer than whatever DJ say so it's probably somewhere there.

Wondering if the other guys can remember exactly what they ended up with...

I've rebuilt a couple of 750 carbs with the DJ kits and this is the setup that worked. The pipes might be different though.

I should be able to switch needle positions with the carbs on the bike like I do on the shafty anyway...

I can't be of any help with this... I don't have the stock carbs on mine anymore. And when I did they didn't have a Dynojet kit in them, I had a "homemade" set-up in them, And I can't remember what that was....

My clips were right in the middle of the range when I had the stock carbs on the bike with the Stage 3 kit. I think I had settled on 122.5 Mikuni mains and they seemed to work good. It's been years though so I could be wrong on that. It may have been 127.5.

                  Thanks guys

Finished putting the clutch back in last night & the valve cover & took it out for a "round the block" just to make sure all the nasty noises had disappeared.

They had! So now onto the next stage.... It's going to get stripped further & up onto the centrestand to start the front end fitment followed by swingarm rebuild & shock replacement.

Then I guess I have to deal with the rear wheel, sprockets & brake....
