Anyone know what these wheels are?

Just met this old guy that used to have a motorcycle shop back in the 80's. He has these wheels that I'm interested in. They kind of look like Lesters, but there are no markings on them at all. The front is a 2.25 x 19 and the rear is 2.75 x 18. They are super light! He says they were made in Italy (maybe) and thought they were called Melber, or something like that. Anyone know??

I have seen a set of Melber rims on a Fiat Spyder. It was at least 15 years ago and they were considered vintage then.
A Google search turned up very little.

Yes, they do. You can pick 'em up with one finger.

These will go on my Beast project. I like that they are wider than the stock wheels. I was going to go with spokes, but I think I changed my mind (again).

I'll have to polish up and sell the spokes so I can pay for these.

The guy has three front rims, and so far one rear. He thinks he has another rear new, still in the box. He's looking.

                      Hey Bruce

Okay I am not done yet ! I have had this seven spoker hanging around for several years but I have not been able to find a matching front. Boy they look the same.

That looks to be the exact same wheel. Does yours have any markings on it?

Looks like I found you a matching front, too! He has 3 fronts.

Hey, something else the guy said. He called them WM2 and WM3. Is that a size? Style?

That one I got does not have any marking at all? I do know it's 2.75 X 18 and I purchased it on Fleabay from seller gptaylor165 . . . something like that. BTW what does your rear wheel weigh? What does the gent want for the front?
