      Butter soft is no exaggeration on those rims!! The damn tire was so hard due to being old it was like diamonds...so damage occurred OUCH!!!!!!

                    Kris, I know you know what you are doing but when faced with a tire that is old and petrified, one way to get it off without damaging the rim is to cut the tire off with a box cutter and then dremmel though the bead with a cut off disc. I've used this method a couple of times now and it saved the rims all kinds of abuse.

                      I was gonna do just that but....the tire was so hard I could not even collapse it enough to get the bead let alone get the tube out. Plus if I got to close to the rim with a dremel it would go right though it like butter...this rim is that soft. But being this soft has its advantages though it was easy to repair The rear won`t be as bad since it got changed more regularly and there is no tube along with a larger tire surface to work with...this will be next
