          Ya, I would definatly be wearing earplugs around that thing.
          I can remember being at the drags, in the pits and standing about 10 feet from an alcohol funny car idling, it was like someone beating on my chest
          Darn good thing they didnt decide to rev it even a bit.

                I wear ear plugs and muffs all of the time when I run these beasts. I also wear ear plugs in my helmet at all time when I ride.

                    A couple years ago at the Prostar Indy event i was at the rail for a Larry McBride-Geoff Pollard Top Fuel round. When they left, i swear the screws in my leg backed out a couple turns.
                    Scary and wonderful at the same time, and that is just from a spectator point of view.

                      Geoff is an acquaintance of mine. We talked at the London bike show where he showed his gorgeous top fuel bike. Here's his 5 second run. He says he has the 4th fastest bike in the world.
