I saw the shoulder and the way the spacer fit the GS1100E OEM sprocket; funny they made the part to reverse on the L.So am I. The 6mm spacer required for the 530 chain conversion is placed as I said previously.
However, the point is irrelevant to this thread as our friend Nicholaschase29 is doing a 520 chain conversion. I have no experience with this modification. I would guess a spacer is still required. Size and placement is unknown to me.

Interesting Posplayer,
The measurement with the lip and sprocket is .350 inches. Just the width of the sprocket without the extruded part is .233 inches - a difference of .127 inches.
2.54 cm in an inch
2.54cm*.127= .32 cm...
I think the extra extrusion on this sprocket is just so the splines have more length to grab between the shaft and sprocket.....?Last edited by Guest; 02-18-2010, 02:42 AM.Comment
