Hay Greg I was told to ask you about what I need to get my oil pressure and temp back. I have a 83 Gs1100E and have added the oil rails for the extra oil col and flow, but now I had to put the adapter were my oil sensor once was. How do I get my oil temp and pressure back? What do I need to add to my system to make it work again.

You need an adaptor that has provisions for the oil pressure sensor.

I see your unit and would look to buy one for my oil pressure and temp. Can you shoot me and e-mail telling me were or how to order one. Thanks

          Input, opinions, feedback, wanted

Which routing do you like better.
This? (I think you can tuck the lines in tighter to the head on an 1100, on an 1150 head, it doesn't matter.)

          OR this?

As you can see, you need to sweep the hose out a little more. Again, this is an 1100 head. The 1150 head the points where the TEO mounts is farther out relative to the cooling fins.
Again I am truly looking for input.

            Greg,

I have two of yours on two of my bikes and one on a mates. All three are fitted like the lower pics. I reckon they look better that way. All three are GS1150's. Will be getting two more unanodised sets from you when you say the word.

Right. On the 1150 head, there aren't obstructions.
I'm trying to determine the best option, as using the -6 fittings & hose makes
keeping everything tidy looking a bit more problematic.
Also, whether running the oil line above or below results in different hose lengths.
Unfortunately, with everthing costing more these days, I am going to have to charge a little more for these kits. Not much, probably $20 or so. But I still need to sit down & do some math, and hope it doesn't bite me in the keister.

                Hi Greg,

I reckon it looks ''better'' with the hose exiting underneath. I don't know why, just does.

20 bucks , 20 schmucks, who cares. Must have!!!! An increase of that magnitude is entirely reasonable. I don't think it will come back to bite you (on the keister, or anywhere else).

                Keep up the good work.

                Richard

I like the underslung, but like someone else said, they will drain quicker. So,in deference to keeping the cams happy, functionality win. I vote over the top.

Oil drain area in the head is lower then these so I can't see any difference other then aesthetic. Pipe on top just looks like it was put on wrong.

I'm sure Greg would like a few more opinions from those who want one though.

                        Question

Hello all. Was there any reason to not run the oil inlet directly from the back of the head instead of the middle of the adaptor? Like a straight -in? Just wondering.
                        Tnx
                        Greg

I like it done that way too Greg, but Greg is making them & HE likes to run the line to the middle. Ray.
