what gsxr front ends will bolt on with the least amount of customing

All of them!!! Try to get a complete front end though, brakes master cylinder,handlebars, instruments and all as this will make it even easier to do.

You need to make sure the donor bikes use tapered steering head bearings for the least trouble. I think Swanny is using a '95 front end that has tapered bearings. You can make newer ones work but you will need access to a good machine shop. Check for threads by Swanny and Gerry in this Perormance Mod section. It will tell you everything you need to know.Comment
