80-83 GS1100 16-valve piston pin-to-deck height?

Hi!

Someone would like to know the piston pin-to-deck height for the 80-83 GS1100 16-valve engines. I have that model, but the engine is not apart... and I'm not willing to take it apart to take that measurement.

If you have one of these pistons, and could measure the piston pin-to-deck height in mm for me, it would be very appreciated!

18.2 mm.

All right, more letters... GS1100 -83, from top of the pin hole to top of the piston.

What you are asking for is the COMPRESSION HEIGHT & it is actually measured from the center of the pin hole to the top of the piston. I will check tomorrow morning & post it up. I've got it written down somewhere but don't remember the exact number. Ray.
