    Newer wheel on shaft drive

    Hi,

I'm a newbie to the GS world, and was wondering if there are any newer wheels that fit the shaft final drive unit on a 1982 GS650? I searched the forums but didn't find anything specifically related to this... thanks!

Check the wheels on either a VX800 or GSX1100G from the early '90s. There's a chance one of them might work. Suzuki has a habit of keeping many major specs consistent between models and years. You'll need to find one in a boneyard to compare to your stock wheel.

Hey, thanks - that's good info - I found some pics on one of the sites you mentioned, and it looks to be the same design - now all I have to do is check the part numbers - anyone have a fiche for a GS650? The part # for the VX800 driven joint is 64680-45113...

          I'm liking this list already...

The part #s have probably changed many times. You would need to physically compare them to see if it would work
