So we modify the frame majorly to put in a much bulkier engine, add 50 lbs or so, and take away half the horsepower and efficiency.
      What's not to like?

        Well, it's a gs500, not a 550. I didn't know how much would be involved.

We used to roadrace a 500 twin out of my shop in Hawaii & I got GREAT power out of the thing! Call me at 714-356-7845 if you want help making it a good runner. Stay away from 4 cylinder swaps into twin frames. It just isn't worth the headache. Ray.
