Pod's on a 550E question...

Anyone here running K&N pods on a '85 550E ??

My airbox is incomplete & a real PITA to get the carb rack on & off of. I was considering just using pods to make my life easier...

Stock main jetting on this 550 is (2) 90's and (2) 97.5's. Keeping the stock exhaust...

I was thinking of going to (2) 95's & (2) 102.5's to compensate for the pods, does anyone have the same set-up?

If you are happy with the power it has just leave it stock and enjoy it. I have pulled my carbs 6 or 7 times in the last 2 days trying to get my jetting right, not a lot of fun.
