    loss of power in 3,4,5 and 6th gear

    ok just got the gs 550 1982 running and tickin over ok(still need to balance the carbs),took it up the road to try it out and it loses power in any gera after 3,i try revving but it just bogs down.is this just a timing and tuning issue? or someting else

    Is there an air box on it? and is it sealed up with a filter?
    Did you set the float levels?
    sounds like either to much air or not enough fuel

      too slow of fuel delivery from tank. advancer is not advancing

      first 2 things to check.
      SUZUKI , There is no substitute
