probably but you may have to change bearings and fiddle with the spacers a bit. a lot of suzuki parts are easily interchangeable with a little bit of work

Doubtful, you will have bearing size problems and the stock GS calipers probably won't fit with the new wheel. The big problem is there is not a bearing you can use to match stock axle size to the GSXR wheel. Some people get around this by using a bushing around the stock GS bearing in the GSXR wheels. Calipers will still be a problem.

as i said, you will probably need to change bearings and fiddle with spacers. its not hard to do. a gs500e wheel bolts straight in a gs1000

The only GS forks I have seen that would fit a 17" GSXR wheels are the 1150 forks and that was pretty surprising.

Also to put a GSXR rotor onto a GS fork would require new brake hanger brackers as the GSXR rotors are larger.

Even on my 700 I was going to have a tough time using a GSXR wheel in the stock fork. Too many things to work around so I did the fork swap. This was in about '93 with no internet, no GSR, and no Ebay. I was on my own.

thats why i said, for the 3rd time he may have to knock up a few spacers. i never said they would bolt straight on

Say it all you want, spacers won't do any good as far as the calipers are concerned. You have to keep them centered on the rotors. Just trying to keep the guy from buying a wheel he may not be able to use.

calipers can be spaced out, to centre them on the rotors, i should know cuz mine are!

I see you have CNC'ed triples but what forks are they? Stock spacing?

Looked again; look like 82-83 GS1100E forks. 37mm tubes with stock axle.

I hope the OP has access to a cheap machinist. He'll need one if he tries this. He going to face one problem after another and by the time he's through will probably spend as much making it work as a new fork would cost.

not looking for a fight, just trying to prove that anything is possible. my forks are gsx1100 katana 1980, billet triple trees, gs500e wheel. 20mm wider than standard trees, spindle and spacers made to suit.
kawasaki (sorry) caliper fitted with caliper spacers,shims what ever you guys want to call it, 20mm longer spindle and a micron fork brace widened by 20mm. yes they are 37mm forks, with a fork brace and a steering damper.
im not looking for a slagging match like some people think i am i am merely trying to say that nothing is impossible
