How to visually identify APE heavy duty studs?

Hi!

Is there a way of visually identifying H.D. APE cylinder studs?
Is it the diameter, color, tooling marks ... or some other details?

In other words, if you look at APE 1150 H.D. studs, how can you tell that they are not OEM?

Any insight would be appreciated!

OEM stud diameter tapers down between the treaded ends so the main portion of the stud is narrower than the threads. HD studs are same diameter end to end.

they are black and thick

oem is silver/gold shinny and skinny except the threaded area.

go to APE GS ZONE and look at the pictures there is a big contrast between the two.
