    APE HD valve springs

I installed a set of hd valve springs in my head, and WOW are they stiff
I really noticed it when I bolted the cam caps on.
When you race these things do you have to helicoil all the cam bolt holes?
    Just wondering.

Yes, I did and I doublechecked the part# when I felt how stiff they were
My exhaust rockers looked a bit sad, so I put GSXF/R rockers on the exhaust side.
Found some bits of metal in one of the metal oiling feeder tubes on the exhaust side, probably restricting flow

I would make sure your not running more than 40lbs at the installed height. Any time I tried to run more than that I would chew up rockers. Finally put in some hard faced rockers this year.

The VS1100S should come in at about 42 lbs.
