82 GS 650 GL forks and triple tree

I have an 82 GS 650 GL that I am building a bobber out of and wondering if someone could tell me of donor bikes that I could swap the triple trees and still use my forks. I am wanting to use a regular triple tree without gauges and ignition

I believe your forks are 35 mm, a pretty common size. That is the most important part. Alternatively you could swap the triple tree out, the bearings are pretty common across the GS line,.
