    Choppy Ride

After riding for an hour or so, and from a dead stop, I get some choppiness as I engage the clutch and take off. This is at low rpm's and then its fine. Is that just chain lash? The chain and sprockets were replaced about a year ago.

    just a couple ideas

lube the clutch cable and clutch lever perch pivot point.

check the clutch cable routing is correct and not kinked

check that a brake caliper is not sticking

check for sticky links in the chain

    check wheel bearing smoothness

all the other things I can think of are related to inner clutch operation and jetting. But they would be apparent in more situations than your description.
