Anyone know which part # accel coils (universal type) to use. Either the 140403 or 140404. I have a set of both so your help will be appreciated.

Basically does the bike have a cdi or some other kind of igniton box. The 04 is for CDI'sComment

You don't have CDI. You need whichever are 3 ohm coils.Comment

Yep, no CDIs as these only really came on dirt bikes and are a totally different system. You have an inductive electronic ignition. 3 to 6 ohm coils work.Comment

Thanks for the help, now I know which ones to use where. My wife has an 83 shadow with CDI's ( I have the factory manuals) So I'll use the other ones there.Comment
