    GS1000 Engine Work

I'm thinking of punching our my GS1000 and maybe porting the heads.

What would you recommend someone do for performance street riding? And where would you send your work off to?

The flash on my heads are cleaned up and they look good. I'd like the top end done after this season and certainly would like the clutch worked along with GS750 8v Oil Pump Gears installed.

    Anything else you'd suggest?

Thanks BigJay... I wish I would have thought about this when I lived in SoCal and went to your area on Kart Races.

Anyway, if I tear her down in the late fall you may find a box from Wisconsin heading your way for a punch out, clutch work, and a top end.

        a little off topic but..
you could stuff an 1150 engine in your frame for less than the parts and labor of the 8 valve project.
more power and over all better engine/stronger ect..
