    Hydraulic Clutch Conversion;

    So, I am researching a kit for both my CBX custom, as well as for my wife's T5 850 Moto Guzzi and my thoughts turned to the Suzi's wrist-cramper...

    I found a pull-type slave cylinder that appears to be a a good potential for the 1980 GSX1100. Anybody else here ever attempt converting with any degree of success?

    Why bother, a well maintained GS has a feather clutch.

    Life is too short to ride an L.

      If your cables and springs are good your clutch should be easy to pull . if it is hard it needs service some where.Maybe someone put heavy duty springs or something. I have a hydraulic on clutch on my ZRX and I would rather have a cable clutch, because cable has better feel of whats happening. I had a Suzuki TLR which I converted to cable because with the Hydraulic it was either engaged or not. Same with my GSXR 1100.

        We are on the same page. I prefer a hydraulic clutch for many reasons.
