82 gs750 valves - how loud??

My 82 runs better since I adjusted the valves and opened them up a pinch. They are within spec. but they do sound more clicky. This bike I bought had carb work done and I have cleared them out thoroughly with Sea Foam. Again, running great; any danger in regard to valves being noisier?

Not if you adjusted them correctly.

How loose did you set them?
I set the valves on my '81 1100E on the upper most end of loose and they are quiet.

I've never owned a quiet sixteen valve head.
They make noise but should not be LOUD.
