Can someone ID these exhaust pipes for me?

These were on a GS400 parts bike I bought.

They arent pretty but I am curious to know what they are. I might paint them black and use them on my cafe project.

    Thanks

Aftermarket for sure. Not sure of the brand though.

I'd pull out the baffle after removing those screws on the end cap, and see how much rust you really have. Repack the baffle too if you decide to use them. By the look of the end cap, I suspect they will be medium quiet.

I decided against using them because I now hae a set of minty chrome pipes I'm gonna use.

But I am still curious. it's in my nature

The best answer was already given. Unfortunately, that's probably about the best we might be able to provide.

I have seen these in motovan's catalog and JC witney.

They are an aftermarket replacement for 400-600cc bikes.

See if i can find it

                    here we go

Page 350, " universal slip-on mufflers. Top left

I got the third one down on the left for mine. They work good on a 400.

                        Great isn't it !

The length does matter too. Mine was good when the end of the pipe was in line with the back axle.
