I have a 1980 GS 550 E. I would like to increase braking power. Are there any aftermarket stainless hoses, calipers etc available that can be used or adapted?

You could try this setup.
Honda Fireblade discs, Kawasaki twin piston calipers & S/S braided brake lines. -

I made my own but you can get them made up almost any brake shop or try the net. You will need to work out the lengths of hoses from M/C to calipers though which will change depending on what handle bars are fitted.Comment
