I bet the heads are different, but you could always look each header up in the parts fiche and compare them.Comment

you are 100% right about the measuring bit. however I do not have the exhaust in hand. It was a pic from the seller, plus the head from the GS700 to the GSXR750 are way different.Comment

The 1st Generation GSXR 750 exhausts are an near perfect fit for the 83-85 GS700/750 E/ES bikes.Comment

There are not available anymore, they all sold out but this should give you an idea of fit.
