Lectron Carb Rebuild Cleaning??

What do you use for cleaning these Plastic Carbs and what about rebuilding them? They seem quite soimple ,do you always replace any specific components ? Like the foam thing/ thanx Mike

The bowls & the foam are the only non aluminum parts. You can get the parts from Paul at Fast By Gast, http://www.fastbygast.com/. I just use brake clean & compressed air to clean mine. I have an ultrasonic cleaner for stuff that has been sitting a long time or is really dirty but that hasn't been the case with my Lectrons.

Lectron cleaning

Thankyou Ray i was concerned over using regular carb cleaner its nasty stuff ,Thought it may make the lectron plastic parts brittle or dissolve. Thanx Mike
