    You guys do realize that the leverage ratios between the Ducati and the GS are not going to be the same, right? The fact that the 1150 is heavier is only part of the equation, you must also consider the leverage ratios. What you really want to look at is the wheel rate and what spring rate on the shock will achieve that for you.

    If the M900 shock spring rate is too low you can replace it with a stiffer spring from a number of suppliers.

        I don't know that the 750 shock (despite the add's saying so) is identical to the 900. I'd doublecheck that; if it is the exact same thing, yes, it is a bolt on.
