Well it turns out I scrapped the 1150 anti-dives. Here's a shot of the 550ES. Looks like it's missing the top
    GS\'s since 1982: 55OMZ, 550ES, 750ET, (2) 1100ET\'s, 1100S, 1150ES. Current ride is an 83 Katana. Wifes bike is an 84 GS 1150ES

Any update on this? Or are block off plates the way to go for GS1100E?

With a channel between the two ports so that fluid can still flow (see in the Pic in earlier post).

Early pics arnt viewable. I saw this done on Pete's katana 11 build. Im wondering, would the size of the channel affects it at all?

Looking at my 1150 manual, it appears that a plate with no channel will cause hydraulic lock of the forks.

I had a pic of the schematic somewhere along with an exploded view of an 1150 PDF unit posted, but they got lost to time and Photobucket. I'll prepost them later as there seems to be a bit of interest. The PDF unit is not really serviceable, but I opened up a dead leaker for curiosity. FYI, They are different from the brake actuated 1100 units.

Has anyone rebuilt these adjusters? It looks like it will unscrew by using a really thin wrench underneath the adjuster knob. I am hoping to fix my leaky one by replacing the o rings.
