I knew it was not 8 or 12 but this one can be made longer still and if you have a second one it can be made pretty again. I am changing to chromoly / air tank/foot peg multi unit.

too bad this wont help either of us $450 for it

Do swingarm slip-on extensions work or should a solid arm always be used?
I am guessing it depends on the horsepower?
I am not sure if anyone makes bolt on extensions for a 1150. Slide in extensions have to be welded and work fine. But bolt on extensions work great on a Bandit arm. When you start putting some serious HP down then you might want an under braced arm

my extended arm is done the same as yours with solid block..same length and all...just ugly.
as of late the ship shop i use has been killing me on larger items so that kills any sales most the time.
if the OP is close/semi close to you then that would be the route to go.

thanks to all who offered and tried to help found 1 only a 6 over but is in good shape and was priced right have to try it at the track next year, might still want a longer one if a good deal comes along , after looking at the 1150 it looks like it would be easy to convert to twin shock 1100 arm anybody got pics of one??? never realized
